Professional Experience

Amy Snyder leads the business transactions practice at the firm. Ms. Snyder focuses on advising companies in connection with complex transactions including financing energy efficiency projects and infrastructure assets in the commercial, MUSH and Federal markets, power purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions and other significant corporate matters, including reorganizations and multi-lender workouts. She also regularly counsels companies, their directors and principals on corporate governance and organizational matters.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Ms. Snyder was counsel to Hannon Armstrong, where she supported the federal energy and infrastructure finance practice and closed Renewable Energy World's "Project of the Year" $400,000,000 financing of first utility-scale U.S. geothermal power plant in the United States since the 1980s.  Ms. Snyder began her legal career in the structured finance group of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.  She also worked at Capital One as assistant general counsel, responsible for structuring and negotiating public and private securitizations, ISDA Master Agreements, structured swap transactions and cross-border joint ventures.

A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a member of the ABA Committee for Government and Private Sector Innovation and NDIA—Women in Defense, Ms. Snyder is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and New York. Ms. Snyder lives in Annapolis, Maryland, where she serves as a Director on the Board of the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County and as Counsel to the Annapolis Economic Development Corporation.
