Andrew Gerlowski’s practice centers on business transactions.  Mr. Gerlowski focuses on drafting and negotiating contractual documents in connection with lease agreements, inter-enterprise relationships, and corporate acquisitions and transactions.

Mr. Gerlowski received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law evening program while working full time as a Subcontracts Administrator at a government contracting firm.  Working there, he gained experience in inter-corporate transactions and contract negotiations.  While ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations, Mr. Gerlowski worked to mitigate risk in the firm’s interactions with subcontractors.

Prior to joining Yumkas, Vidmar, Sweeney & Mulrenin, LLC, Mr. Gerlowski volunteered as a newly admitted attorney at the Maryland Disability Law Center.  Working with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, and local building codes, Mr. Gerlowski worked as an advocate for social justice and equal protection on behalf of residents in the housing sector.

An alumnus of the University of Maryland at College Park, with a B.S. in Accounting, Mr. Gerlowski is seeking to expand his qualifications by pursuing a CPA license in Maryland.
