Kinley R. Bray
443-569-5974
Kinley Bray has nearly 20 years of experience representing developers, institutions, community organizations, and, most recently, local government in all aspects of land use and real estate development. Representing these various stakeholders over the course of her career uniquely positions Ms. Bray to guide YVS Law’s clients to successful outcomes in the development approval process. Ms. Bray comes to YVS Law from the Anne Arundel County Office of Law, where for the past five years she has advocated on behalf of the County’s Office of Planning and Zoning before the Board of Appeals and State Courts. Prior to joining the County, Ms. Bray ran a busy land use practice at one of the region’s most successful real estate law firms, representing a multitude of developers, individuals, non-profit institutions, and governmental entities before Washington, D.C. and federal land use tribunals.
Ms. Bray has lived in Annapolis since 2005, and is excited to be re-entering the private practice of law in her own community. “I have spent the bulk of my career in private practice, advocating for my clients before local regulatory bodies throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia on projects including residential subdivisions, diplomatic missions, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and complex mixed-use projects. The last five years have given me an extraordinary view into the decision-making process, policies, and priorities of Anne Arundel County specifically, and local government in general. I am thrilled to be back in private practice along with the talented team of attorneys at YVS Law.”
